Such Reasons why your AdSense Application was Rejected?

For many years Google AdSense has top the charts of #1 income earner for many publishers of small and medium range all over the world.

Application Details

The details by which you apply for AdSense must be correct and complete. The name that you provide during signup would be your Payee Name and the payment would be received in checks if you reach the minimum eligibility criteria on the Payee Name and address. So you need to make sure that you should have the correct name as that which is showing in the bank account that you have. The same thing goes with address that you provide. To this address, the AdSense team wills courier your check from time to time. However you can edit your address but not the Payee name.
During Signup you should also provide the website URL. The URL looks like www.google.com or www.amitbhawani.com. Your website URL must be correct because AdSense team reviews your website in accordance with their policy. The AdSense team also checks for the type of content you have and it must follow their guidelines mentioned in policy agreement. If you have typed the wrong URL or your site doesn’t exist then it’s likely that your application would be rejected since they can’t access your site.
So it’s left to the publishers to double-check your application before your click on the submit button, because once you have submitted you can’t edit it. Now once you have submitted your application it can take 4 to 7 working days for them to review it and at that point you can edit your application to correct any errors and then resubmit it.

Content Issues

Whenever AdSense rejects an application they sent you a mail explaining the reason what is caused for the rejection. As the AdSense policy says AdSense publishers can’t place ads on pages with copyright content unless you have legal rights to do so. So the AdSense Team is quick in rejecting those applications straightaway when publishers apply. So if your site is unique content which is not published anywhere then your application will be approved or else it would be hard chance.
Once again if your account is rejected for content issues, AdSense Team would be clearly mentioning it in the email that you have received in your mailbox. Read the email carefully.

Domain Ownership Issues

According to the rules of AdSense, publisher’s website whois details should be matching with the Payee Name that you mention during the application. If that doesn’t matches then AdSense team would clearly mention about this problem in the mail which that they communicate with you. This is not the AdSense rejection but its a step before you can proceed with your AdSense Account. If AdSense team ask for this then that is must for you to verify domain ownership by mentioning it in a page in your site.

Page Type

Page type issues maybe of anything of content that is not acceptable according to the AdSense policies. Most of the applications are rejected because the site with which you apply has one post or too little content. It’s beginning for you but it’s not enough for you to satisfy advertisers and so not enough to satisfy AdSense.
For major areas in the world, AdSense has set up minimum domain age eligibility, i.e., your site should be at least 6 months old which means that your blog should be operation and have content for at least 6 months. So if start a blog in January with one post and wait for six months your account will probably not be approved. Also provided that your blog should be interesting to read and helpful for the people.
All the content present in your site should adhere the policies mentioned by AdSense.

Poor Navigation Issues

Poor navigation in your website or blog can be an issue too. Website having navigation or menu buttons that don’t link to any webpage or links to a broken menu links can create an issue.
Flash navigation are difficult for the Google bots to follow so it’s advised to use less flash and more text links.

Under Construction Sites

For most of the reason people apply for AdSense with Under Construction page for this site. This is not at all acceptable by Google in any case for the approval of AdSense. If you apply for a site with Under Construction Page then your application is subjected to rejection straightaway.
So make sure that you don’t have Under Construction page when you are applying as a publishers.
Languages
AdSense only supports few languages which are widely spoken which are mentioned at AdSense Supported Languages. If your website is rejected for non-supported language then you can’t do anything.
So getting an AdSense account is not that easy as you think. For further information why your AdSense was rejected or still have anything, then check out our guide on AdSense FAQs.

How to Add Google Adsense Code in Wordpress - Solution

I was just trying to add Adsense to this blog and found several plugins available to add Google adsense to wordpress. Finally, I managed to add Google Adsense to this blog without any plugins – this solution takes around 5 mins to setup and it only uses the text widget available in wordpress by default.
Step 1: Login to your blog as administrator
Step 2: Click on Appearance
Step 3: Select Widgets
Step 4: Select the sidebar you want (Default Sidebar 1)
Step 5: Add Text widget
Step 6: Click on Edit widget
Step 7: Enter Caption. I have used “Useful Links”
Step 8: Paste your Google Adsense code in the text area. See example code & screenshot
Example: Copy and Paste into Widget the code generated by the google add scense.

  • Always write your email professionally with perfect grammar.
  • Be corporat, be understanding and nice, although you are frustrated.
  • Offer them every possible help from your side, they will find you nice to them and they will handle your case with more interest.

  • If you have server logs, tracking and analytics logs, IPs details, submit in that form too.
  • Do not submit form again and again, they will consider it SPAM and Google hates spam.
  • Before submitting form, again check if you have followed all above steps accurately.
After submitting the form, they will send you an auto-generated email address, after few days, a Man from Google will reply you about your case, they may require additional information from you otherwise they will (may be) reinstate your account. Best of the Luck !

Ads By Google Changed to AdChoices - Google Adsense Ads Updated

Back in March 2011, Google announced that they will be changing 'Ads by Google' image found in all Google ads with "AdChoices". This change is made to comply with self-regulatory Program of the online advertising industry. This will allow Google to give users a choice to know more about their ads. Today (June 4, 2011) Google has implemented this change on their advertising system.
This is a minor change made in Google Ads interface for end-user however this may results higher revenue for Google and their ad publishers as every one was aware of "What Ads by Google is" and people had become conscious to click on such ads.

Google Earlier said:
Just like before, users who click on the "AdChoices" label will be taken to a page where they can learn more about online advertising and the ads they've just seen. This page will also provide a link to the Ads Preferences Manager, where users can control the types of interest-based ads they see. Our tests of this new icon and label showed that they should not have any effect on ad performance. We think this rollout will help users better understand the ads they're seeing, and we look forward to seeing widespread adoption of this label throughout the industry.

Actually, Google announced that they will be replacing " i " with " AdChoices " if you dont know what " i " is, let me tell you " i " is a mini icon that appears mostly on Google image and/or flash ads and whenever you drag mouse on that " i " it expands to "Ads by Google". Below given image will make understandings clear.

Google Adsense New Policy

Google updates product policies time by time, few days ago, Google updated programe policies of Google Adsense. This was a silent update made on May 27, 2011 and most of Google Adsense publishers are not aware of this update as publishers rarely read Policy updates, they only come to know when their accounts are disabled because of updated policy. Anyways, Google brought a major change in this policy for publishers and according to this change, Google Adsense publishers are not allowed to place Google ads in iframes.

According to this change:
AdSense code may not be altered, nor may the standard behavior, targeting or delivery of ads be manipulated in any way that is not explicitly permitted by Google. This includes but is not limited to the following: clicking Google ads may not result in a new browser window being launched, nor may Google ads be placed in an IFRAME.
Google always discouraged placing ads in iframes as they said "Our targeting technology is not optimised to serve ads within a separate IFRAME" however publishers were allowed to place ads in iframes but according to recent update of Google Adsense Program policy, placing ads in iframe clearly violates Google Adsense policy.

Possibly, users still can show contents using iframe and there is no issue if that content-iframe includes Google Adsense ads too.

Dear Google Video User,
Later this month, hosted video content on Google Video will no longer be available for playback. Google Video stopped taking uploads in May 2009 and now we’re removing the remaining hosted content. We’ve always maintained that the strength of Google Video is its ability to let people search videos from across the web, regardless of where those videos are hosted. And this move will enable us to focus on developing these technologies further to the benefit of searchers worldwide.
On April 29, 2011, videos that have been uploaded to Google Video will no longer be available for playback. We’ve added a Download button to the video status page, so you can download any video content you want to save. If you don’t want to download your content, you don’t need to do anything. (The Download feature will be disabled after May 13, 2011.)
We encourage you to move to your content to YouTube if you haven’t done so already. YouTube offers many video hosting options including the ability to share your videos privately or in an unlisted manner. To learn more go here.
Here’s how to download your videos:
Go to the Video Status page.
To download a video to your computer, click the Download Video link located on the right side of each of your videos in the Actions column.
Once a video has been downloaded, “Already Downloaded” will appear next to the Download Video link.
If you have many videos on Google Video, you may need to use the paging controls located on the bottom right of the page to access them all.
Please note: This download option will be available through May 13, 2011.
Thank you for being a Google Video user.
Sincerely,
The Google Video Team.
