Fujifilm FinePix X100 12.3MP Digital Camer




Fujifilm has announced the release of its new camera FujufilmFinePix X100 which has the combination of all the recent digital world technologies in a very slim and stylish traditional outlook. , a Fujinon 23mm fixed local length lens and a newly launched in market Hybrid 2.8 inches LCD viewfinder integrated into it. The camera has support for 5 frames-per-second continuous shooting mode and is capable of capturing high quality video of up to 720p. The camera’s lens uses a 9-blade aperture diaphragm with the widest aperture of F2.


Specifications of the FInePix X100

  • A Fixed 23mm F2 lens which has the equivalent field view of a 35mm lens
  • 2.8 inches LCD, an aspect ratio of 4:3 and 460,000 dots
  • It is Equipped with a Hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder
  • EVF (electronic view finder) – 0.5x magnification & 1,440,400 dots
  • OVF (optical view finder) – 0.5x magnification, 90% field view
  • Traditional control dials to control shutter speed, exposure and aperture
  • ISO 100 (L), 200-6400, 12800 (H)
  • Built in flash and a flash hot shoe
  • A neutral density filter (3 stops)
  • HD Movie support of up to 720p (1280x720)

All these feature are incorporated in the ultra-slim and compact Finepix X100 launched by Fujifilm. It has dimensions of 126x74x54 mm and it is anticipated that it will be coming to the market in or around March 2011. There has been no word on its price yet.
