The upcoming Nokia N9 was recently announced by Nokia at CommunicAsia 2011 held at Singapore. Nokia N9 will be using the Meego Mobile operating system which is going to be the base operating system for the future. So let’s get a sneak preview into the Nokia N9 mobile phone. The Nokia MeeGo operating system would provide Nokia N9 users to run more than 5 applications together and it can be switched from one app to another with quick response. All this is possible through the 1Ghz Cortex A8 CPU processor which runs on T1 OMAP 3630 chipset. The 1 GB dedicated RAM would also help in the faster response time of it.
Front the front it has got curved dashing design of the screen sized at 3.9 inches. The screen is capacitive AMOLED with full multi-touch support. Provided with Accelerometer sensor for auto rotate makes the phones to quickly understand when you want to use it in vertical position. The impressive 8 mega pixel camera will make sure that you are carrying a camera with you. It has got Carl Zeiss optics with 28 mm lens. With the camera you can take 720 pixel video with 30 fps. Added to it has features like dual LED flash for snap during night, auto focus and face detection.
It’s a 3G mobile phone with a single SIM support. For the connectivity options its includes WiFi, Bluetooth and GPRS. Its provided with one micro USB port and mini SD card slot. The entertainment provided by this mobile is extended to the next level with the phone supporting Dolby Surround Sound and Dolby Digital plus features for headphones support with 3.5 mm universal headphones. It comes with various other features which are supplied in other Nokia phones.
Provided with 1450 mAh Li ion battery it can offer a continuous talk time of 11 hours during 2G usage and 7 hours during 3 usages. The standby time is up to 380 hours in 3G and 450 hours in 3G network. The Nokia N9 would be available in variants of 16 Gb and 64 with three colors namely black, cyan and magenta.
