Ufone and PTCL launched Pakistan’s first EVDO Mobile Phone, Ufone Uth Futura Mobile Handset. It is a dual mode handset; GSM and EVDO technology. It has built-in 3G Evo connection which can also be used as Evo Modem. PTCL has already successfully launched and operating 3G Evo USB Flash Drive for fastest internet browsing. Ufone Futura will use the PTCL EVO Network for Internet Browsing while Ufone Network for GSM Services e.g calls, SMS.
Previously, only GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi Technologies are being used by cellular and telecommunication networks for internet connectivity on mobile phones. This is the first launch of 3G Technology on mobile phones in Pakistan by Ufone.
With a maximum speed of 3.1 Mbps, users can enjoy fastest internet browsing over mobile phone or PC/ Laptop Computers, instant movie and songs download, mobile video streaming and live TV channels on your Ufone Futura.

My Review on Ufone Futura Mobile Phone
It is a very good step toward latest data technology by Ufone but I think that Ufone should expand this 3G Evo service to other 3G enabled handsets and Ufone should also launch other handsets with wider touch screens and full web browsing capability of real web pages. So, the users can fully enjoy speed of 3G Evo.
